With a beginning comes an end. With life comes death. In between these momentous events we watch a lot, I mean A LOT of films. And much to our surprise some of these films shape the people we are and how we approach life. A lot goes into making these films; the plot lines, undying love, the psychology of music and cinematics which dictate what makes the audience go ooh, aah and jump out of their seats. This is a podcast about those films. And a bit about the inevitable, death.
Brett Goldstein is returning with an extra special guest in another podcast from his highly popular series Films to be Buried With. Join comedian, actor, writer Brett Goldstein et al. as they go down the inevitable and dreary road of life and death by way of movies!
Goldstein is an award winning comedian, talented actor and writer with diverse acting credits to his name including BBC Three’s television sitcom, ‘Uncle’, Channel 4’s ‘Derek’, Sky’s ’30 And Counting’ and ‘Fergus and Crispin’ as well as the Emmy award winning “Hoff The Record”. He also co-wrote and starred in feature film Superbob and he won Best Supporting Actor at the 2016 BIFAs for his role of Brendan in Adult Life Skills.
Famously known for his stand-up comedy, Goldstein has made three more hours of stand up that premiered in Edinburgh and toured the UK and overseas: ‘Brett Goldstein Contains Scenes Of An Adult Nature’, ‘Brett Goldstein: Burning Man’, and ‘Brett Goldstein: What Is Love Baby Don’t Hurt Me’. So, if comedy and film, life and possibly death are your kind of topics, then tune in for this memorable podcast with the extra special, mystery guest!
