In the heart of Birmingham, the Salvation Army is based in the Citadel on St Chad’s Queensway. It is a diverse and multigenerational church with a rich musical heritage. Reaching into communities the Army’s work has helped many people across the city.
The Citadel hosts a wide range of services and events, details of which can be found on their website.
Parking around the Citadel is limited and parking restrictions are vigorously enforced by the city council. The church is on a busy dual carriageway where there is no parking or drop-off unless you are a disabled blue badge holder. In addition, due to the redevelopment works taking place locally, many of the parking bays have been removed.
B4 Car Park
Rather than leave your car on the street, a safe and secure place to park is B4 Car Park which is just a 5 minute walk away from the Citadel. B4 is on Weaman Street and offers wide parking bays across six levels in a clean and bright building.
B4 is open to everyone but if you become a B4 member you can save money! You don’t have to be a member but it’s free to sign-up and you get 20% discount off the standard parking tariff during the week, and 50% discount off the standard parking tariff at weekends.
